Our People

Mr Krumins is a chemical engineer by training and had a career in finance before focusing on board, trustee and advisory roles. His work has primarily been in the technology, services, industrial and regulated sectors, and he has an extensive background in strategy, risk assessment and governance. He has served as Chair, Director and Audit Committee Chair in a range of public and private companies and also as a Panel Member at the Competition and Markets Authority investigating mergers, markets and anti-competitive behaviour for the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.

He has previously served as a MAT Chair and Trustee, and supported the DfE in assessing MAT governance. He was also a Trustee and Finance Committee Chair for The Royal Institution, and a Funding Committee member for LAMDA.
