Belinda is an experienced music teacher and former Head of Department. She designed and developed an enhanced training and support programme for trainees and NQTs at Bedford Free School prior to the introduction of the ECF, so was well placed to lead on delivery of the Early Career Framework in our trust and more widely when it was launched.
Belinda now leads on our partnership with Ambition Institute in delivering their Early Career Teachers programme to over 200 ECTs and mentors across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire. She also leads on ensuring a high quality of training and support is available to trainees on placement in our schools.
Belinda holds a PGCE and a Masters in Music Education from the Institute of Education, UCL and was successful as part of the inaugural cohort completing the Teacher Education Fellows programme with Ambition Institute.
