Mr McCourt was until recently the Chief Executive at La Salle Education and former Chairman of the Teacher Development Trust. La Salle Education is a UK based company dedicated to improving mathematics education. The Teacher Development Trust works to stimulate demand for, ensure access to, and quality assure professional development for all teachers in England.
Mr McCourt is also a former Senior Director at Tribal, Director at the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics a former School Leader, Inspector and Advanced Skills Teacher.
Mr McCourt brings to the Trust a depth of experience. He specialises in Education Transformation, Futures Thinking, Teacher Professional Learning, Technology for Learning, Mathematics Education and School Leadership.
