Parvez has worked in industry for the past 25 years at senior managerial or leadership level for companies such as Ford, Jaguar Landrover, Caterpillar and Iveco group. He brings a wealth of experience in technical, strategic and commercial activities as well as in recruiting, building and successfully leading teams in the UK and internationally.
Parvez said “ My motivation for wanting to be Trustee is shaped by my own experience of education in the state sector, particularly for those from BAME background. My children and I have gone through all the tiers of council run schools in Bedford. I have also served as a governor at Biddenham school. This experience coupled with the understanding I have developed from my career in industry and academia, has given me a comprehensive understanding of the entire education system from primary and secondary education through to undergraduate and postgraduate studies. I would like to use this experience to help change the life prospects of children”.
